The medina has a thousand doors. Behind ours, a courtyard that breathes.
Riad Sofia is a guesthouse in the heart of the Marrakech medina — a plunge pool beneath the arcades, a hammam, a Berber-tent rooftop. Ten minutes on foot from Jemaa el-Fna.
A house, not a hotel.
Sculpted plaster arcades, hand-painted doors, wrought iron and tadelakt — the riad was restored by Marrakchi craftsmen, trade by trade. Days keep a house's rhythm: mint tea on arrival, breakfast in the courtyard, lantern-lit evenings.

A setting no hotel can copy.
A double gallery of arcades, zellij, painted wood: the house tells the story of Marrakech craft on every floor.
Rooms around the courtyard.
Carved four-poster beds, white voile, tadelakt walls. Every room is air-conditioned with a private bathroom — some keep their original fireplace.

From the courtyard table to the Berber tent.
Moroccan cooking at lunch and dinner, breakfast under the arcades or on the roof. Up top: sun loungers, Koutoubia views, and a real Berber tent for the evening.
